My former finance professor would often say “up is good; up is very, very good.” In fact, he would usually pronounce the first word as “uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup…” to remind us of the ideal business path. To his credit, the entire class wasn’t performing very well in a business simulation at the time, so he was offering these words of advice in a constructive, albeit overly sarcastic, way.
He was right, of course. Up is very, very good.
We celebrated our third official client to the family earlier today – yes, our third in less than 90 days. It’s pretty crazy. This agency thing was never supposed to happen! And now we have three clients. Wild.
A quick shout out as to who they are and what they do:
- Gondola Skate – a kick-ass manufacturer of fixture mobilization equipment
- Heroic Hearts Apparel – a clothing designer and manufacturer of high quality apparel for members and supporters of those in uniform
- This client is very meaningful to us, especially to Rob, who is a former Marine.
- Hinton & Associates – an IT-service provider to municipalities, financial services firms and other small businesses (s/o to my former b-school classmate, George Hinton, for the opportunity)
We certainly appreciate working with really awesome people who are trying to make a meaningful difference in their firms and unto the world. In case I don’t say it often enough, thank you very, very much.
